Will l need to remove any clothing?
One of the great advantages to on-site seated massage is that it does not require you to remove any clothing.
 
What areas of my body will l receive a massage?
Depending on the amount of time allocated for each massage the sequence will usually cover the shoulders, back, neck, and arms.
 
Are there any oils or lotions used?
The massage is performed through your clothing requiring no oils or lotions.
 
How long will the massage session last?
Anywhere from 5min-1hr
 
Where will l receive the massage?
You will receive your massage in the comfort of an ergonomic chair specifically designed for seated massage. This is placed in a quiet and convenient place within the workplace.

A fully qualified professional Massage Therapist experienced in the practise of seated massage.
 
What will the massage feel like during and after?
The massage sequence utilises a combination of techniques - relaxation massage, acupressure points, oriental massage, myofascial release and some fast movements to increase blood flow and energy. The sequence is modified depending on the clients needs eg: amount of pressure used or areas of tension and pain. Most people are aware of tension in there shoulders and back however you will feel relaxed and rejuvenated immediately after the massage with a surge of energy approximately 5-10min following.
 
What do l need to do while receiving my massage?
To receive full benefits from a massage its best to focus on you breathing taking slow deep breaths in through the nose and out through the mouth, also trying to bring awareness into your body leaving your work at the desk for the duration of the massage.
 
What if l am not comfortable during the massage?
If at any point during the massage you are not comfortable it is advisable to notify the therapist immediately of your concern, upon which the massage can be modified ie: pressure used or the chair can be adjusted. Or the massage can be ceased altogether.
 
Is there any medical reasons l should not receive a massage?
There are no contra-indications for seated chair massage.
